You know your kids are Texans when...

you hear yelling and screaming as they scurry under your covers, playing "Run from the Tornado."

or when they play "hurricane" with their little people. Okay, well then you would have to be from the Texas Gulf Coast.
or when they say: "Look mom! an ant heeel." (I don't know how to type the southern drawl on hill.)
or when you visit some place without fire ants and they have to look around in the grass for ant hills them before they will play.

Ha! I think of all of us as Californians, but I forget that the three grandkids were born here.
